It's not just the owl that is wise

One thing that we have noticed in France is that the English community is still quite keen on security and the ability to have light on in the gardens, particularly at night. We have come across many properties where there is a barn light here and there and the need to take a torch up the garden path to perhaps turn off equipment that is situated in the garden shed out building.  We can offer a more user friendly solution for your external appliances and lighting... the Wisebox

What is a wisebox?

The wisebox is an easy to install remote switching unit designed to operate a range of outdoor devices.  The wisebox is a mains powered water resistant receiver unit installed in the garden, barn or shed or rear of the house and is reliant upon radio frequency to communicate. The unit has 4 outputs with a maximum total of 3kw, more if you are opting for the larger wisebox with a longer range 8kw, as pictured above.  Each output can have a number of devices linked to it.

For example:
  • 1st  output could have 2 x wall lights
  • 2nd output could have your gate opener
  • 3rd output could be linked to pond pump
  • 4th output could be linked to your security lights

With a range of 30 metres you can enjoy switching  your circuits on and off from anywhere in your garden or home with your remote control fob.   For appliances such as security lights you can turn on and off at set times with the Timer facility, [in the 30metre range unit only].

Why use a Wisebox?

The wisebox is great for switching on devices remotely from inside your house or outside.

For example you are driving home in the dark, you have arrived at your gates, out comes your fob and you can open your gates and turn your lights on. Once inside you use the fob to close the gate and turn off your lights.

With the cold winter months approaching the ability to use your remote fob from inside the house is rather warming.

“Having had the remote lights fitted, must say brilliant. Have internal barn lights, external barn lights, yard lights all operated remotely at any time by the touch of a button”  – client from Les Alleuds

The wisebox has to be connected to the electrical installation by a qualified electrician. If the wisebox is a user friendly solution for your property then please do contact us for more information.

Can the wisebox be used for garage doors? Do you install electric garage doors as well?
